Welcome to AJF
The Access to Justice Foundation (AJF) is a Kentucky non-profit created in 1996 to expand access to the civil justice system for low-income people by increasing volunteer lawyer involvement and expanding financial support for Kentucky's legal aid programs. AJF pursues these goals by coordinating statewide pro bono opportunities for volunteer lawyers, providing poverty law training, directing resource development activities, and providing free telephone legal assistance to seniors throughout Kentucky.
Join the Challenge! Access to Justice Foundation is sponsoring our partner, Child Advocacy Today in the 2013 GoodGiving Guide Challenge, making us eligible for thousands of dollars in cash prizes!
Last year’s Challenge raised $586,000 for 68 nonprofits in seven counties. This year our goal is to raise $1 million for 108 nonprofits in central Kentucky! We’re expecting great things!
To help us compete for cash and prizes, we are asking friends and supporters like you to donate at least $25 each to AJFKY via www.GoodGivingGuide.net anytime between 8:00 a.m. on November 1, 2013 and 11:59 p.m. December 31, 2013.
What is the GoodGiving Guide Challenge? It’s a partnership between Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing (Chevy Chaser Magazine, Southsider Magazine and Business Lexington) to promote online charitable giving to local causes. In addition to the GoodGiving Guide’s online efforts, Smiley Pete Publishing will be reaching out to its reader base with a print edition of the Guide, which will provide a detailed profile of 108 local nonprofits, including AJFKY.
The faster you give online at www.GoodGivingGuide.net, the greater our chance of winning. Plus there are many great incentive prizes for donors who give through the Challenge.
The race is on for AJFKY to attract as many online donors as we can! View Access to Justice Foundation’s profile directly at http://tinyurl.com/GiveToCAT. After making your gift, please tell your friends, family and colleagues about us and the GoodGiving Guide Challenge!
Look for updates about how we’re doing by checking us out at www.facebook.com/ajfky, follow us on Twitter at @ajfky and watch the leaderboard at www.GoodGivingGuide.net to see how we’re doing in real time.

Celebrate Pro Bono!
A special thanks to all the Kentucky pro bono programs that helped "Celebrate Pro Bono" in Kentucky! Most importantly, thanks to all the lawyers, judges and paralegals who donate their services to help improve the legal system.
